Your Moving Questions, Answered
Relocating involves significant trust and planning. We want you to feel completely confident when you entrust your belongings to Unicorn Express. Below are transparent answers to the questions our clients ask us most frequently.
Unlike unverified operators who may compromise on packing quality and accountability, we are an ISO-certified and Government-licensed logistics company. We employ our own trained staff (no daily wagers), use premium 3-layer packing materials, and provide a legally binding invoice and transit insurance for your absolute protection.
Our process starts with an inventory assessment. For regular items, we use heavy-duty corrugated boxes. For fragile electronics and glassware, we use specialized anti-static bubble wrap and custom-built wooden crates. Furniture is entirely wrapped in foam blankets and stretch film to ensure edges are protected against any transit friction.
Absolutely. The shifting quote provided to you after our pre-move survey is final. We maintain a strict "No Hidden Fees" policy. This means you will not face sudden demands for unannounced toll taxes, labor tips, or extra packing charges on the day of your move.
Your vehicles are never driven to the destination. We transport cars and bikes strictly inside specialized, enclosed double-deck carriers. This protects your vehicle from weather, dust, and highway debris, ensuring it arrives at your new home with the exact same mileage it left with.
Transit insurance is usually calculated as a small percentage (typically 1.5% to 3%) of the declared value of your goods. In the rare event of an accident or unforeseen damage, our dedicated support team will assist you in filing the claim directly with our partner insurers for a swift settlement.
Yes. For legal and safety reasons, we cannot transport hazardous materials, explosives, gas cylinders, fuel, perishable food items, live plants (on long transit), or highly valuable personal items like cash, jewelry, and crucial legal documents. We ask clients to carry valuables personally.
